Eukaryotes only?[edit]

I was under the impression that the designation of "ring chromosome" was limited to eukaryotic chromosomes (which are normally linear), as most prokaryotic chromosomes are circular. The article makes no mention of this. Headsmasher Electricteeth 11:10, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
