Hominid vs. hominoid[edit]

I have change a link under the "Setting" section from "hominid" (meaning humans, some human ancestors, and great apes) to "humanoid" (meaning resembling humans, but not necessarily genetically related). The latter is more common in science fiction themes, but if someone more familiar with Ringworld knows that "hominid" is intended, please link to Hominidae, the correct article page. The "hominid" page is just a disambiguation page. Iggle 07:04, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Right or wrong, the term used in the books is hominid. Xihr 22:26, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Good. Then I will link it to Hominidae so it's going to the article, not to a dab page. Thanks. Iggle 07:04, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Credits links[edit]

The Ed Gore that is linked to in the credits is not the correct Ed Gore —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.140.122.3 (talk) 22:26, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
