Prequel?[edit]

Is there a reference for the Fleet of Worlds series to be a prequel (and part of) the Ringworld series? At least its first two books don't even mention the Ringworld, and are closer in setting to e.g. Crashlander than to the Ringworld series proper. I'd rather consider them a separate series in the Known Space universe... --Roentgenium111 (talk) 16:19, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
