Robbie Savage's sending off in September 2004 was not for a foul tackle by him but for reacting to a foul on him by Northern Ireland midfielder Michael Hughes. Both Hughes and Savage were sent off but on later review the sending-off of Savage seemed a harsh decision.

[edit] Category

I see Robbie's listed in Category:People from Denbighshire. I'm rather dubious about this as he was born in November 1974 in Wrexham, when the old county of Denbighshire was abolished the previous April; Wrexham was in Clwyd from 1974-1996 and is now in its own County Borough, and not in the recreated Denbighshire. -- Arwel (talk) 11:27, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
