Punishment[edit]

Why was he gibbetted and not hanged, drawn and quartered for his treason? 130.225.244.206 (talk) 14:07, 13 April 2014 (UTC)

Untitled[edit]

I recall this character was portrayed in the King Henry VIII miniseries by that actor who plays Borimir in LOTR. Perhaps this reference could be added. Appologies for my vagueness, just a passing thought. --64.7.151.148 02:41, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

The following material was placed on the page List of people convicted of high treason in England before 1 May 1707. I am not sure if the suggestion that he led 40000 people is included in this article so I am placing it here:

-convicted of treason against King Henry VIII for the Pilgramage of Grace, he led over 40 thousand commons all over England indue to the King's Catholic Church Reforms.
