Untitled[edit]

Someone more neutral than me might want to add a paragraph that applies to many such fringe political commentators, about their position on withdrawing funds somehow or other from trades unions which at the same time find that they do not have funds to represent members. The example I came across, which may be typical, is of a hard working group of activists maintaining a dysfunctional old-fashioned voting system so that they could elect each other as a sort of rotten borough. 20th century technology was ignored at branch 1/1148 of the T&G and only those who liked turning up to meetings got a vote, which happened to be in favour of funding the communist party.

As one musician said in front of the McArthy committee, he didn't see why anyone should declare their views if they are a nudist or a vegetarian or belong to some religious group. But when the issue is taking union funds that could have been used for lawyers, I think there is a public interest and there should be a paragraph on this about every fringe commentator who's offices and meetings are funded by unions. Do you have a (good) source for these allegations? 78.105.197.102 (talk) 18:48, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unrefenced material[edit]

As far as Wikipedia's standards are concerned, this is a very poor article. It is entirely unsubstantiated as not one single reference or source is given. If anyone can do this this maybe the piece can be reinstated to something resembling its original state, otherwise it will remain a stub and could even be deleted. Year of birth[edit]

Does anybody know Robert's date of birth so that it can be added to the article? 88.108.226.207 (talk) 20:11, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ask him? + use Template:Birth date and age Extua (talk) 06:56, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 05:18, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted to the previous freely-licensed photo, but there's no reason why there shouldn't be a more recent photo so long as it's freely-licensed. Extua (talk) 13:01, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Socialism for the Welsh People[edit]

I noticed this pamphlet has also been mirrored here. It could be added as an archive-url to the bibliography? Extua (talk) 10:04, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
