In the top it says he completed thirteen episodes while in the time line it says he died after the first one. Which is correct?

Also, his year of birth seems to be unclear.
[1] says 1893
[2] says 1890
His gravestone [3] says 1890, while the article [4] around the gravestone says 1893.
Another biography [5] says 1890.

Movie?

It appears there may be a Hollywood movie coming out "Ripley's Believe it or Not" and the man who will play Mr Ripley?.......JIM CAREY! Carey's Wiki article list this as an upcoming movie. Marriage to Beatrice Roberts

It says that Ripley married Beatrice Roberts in 1919. That would mean that she (Beatrice Roberts) was only 14 when they married!!! Not to mention that he was also 12 years older than her when they married(assuming he was born in 1893, but if he was born in 1890, he would be 15 years older than her) Another article says that Mr. Ripley never talked about the marriage. Most likely because even then it was considered innapproprate and he didn't want to spoil his image. I used to think he was a good person until I found out about that. I also found out from another site that before and after his 3 month marriage to Beatrice Roberts that he had as many as 5 live in girlfriends (one wonders if he was cheating on his wife). Original Research Concerns

The biography site called NNDB also has Mr. Ripley's biography. If you look at the bibliography of that page it says that the original research came from Wikipedia. In his biography on Wikipedia, it says that some research came from NNDB. What is going on here? SuzieSingB (talk) 13:26, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Mr. Pearlroth

In my opinion, it was very unfair of Mr. Ripley to take credit for all the Believe it or Not! facts when it was really Mr. Pearlroth doing all the work. I read Mr. Pearlroth's page and found 2 disturbing facts: 1) Pearlroth appearently had very little time off. 2) Mr. Pearlroth's page on Wikipedia is not very popular in terms of searching for information about him. On NNDB, there isn't even information about him! I think that he is rather important because, If it wasn't for him Ripley would have gone NOWHERE. The least Ripley could have done is to call it Ripley and Pearlroth's Believe it or Not! Pearlroth should have quit when he had the chance. He was qualified to become an attorney instead of tolerating Ripley! He would have probably been paid better as an attorney and had more time off. Unless things have changed since I last saw his page on Wikipedia, Pearlroth doesn't even have a lead photo and probably never will! To think I used to like Mr. Ripley. How dissapointing. P.S. Ripley deserved to die from a heart attack. I think he was a terrible person.

There are 5 necessary citations for that page!!!! Can you believe it (or not:-)) !!! Someone really needs to clean that page up!!!! Concerning that trivia section, who on earth came up with that !?! That page is a mess!!!! Original Name

I think it should be noted that Robert Ripley was born LeRoy Ripley, but changed his name to Robert. Just a suggestion SuzieSingB (talk) 16:32, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
