Goofy looking video frame shot as author portrait[edit]

Seems quite immature, so can somebody please change it to one of his promo photos? Here's his most recent [1] 96.35.111.29 (talk) 10:08, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Modrow’s claim[edit]

According to a personal communication of John Modrow, author of How to become a schizophrenic, "for his effort in writing Mad in America Whitaker received a death threat: he was told that if he ever wrote a book like that again 'they' would go after him and his family".

I really don't know what to say about such a claim! It would be nice to have a statement by Whitaker himself. Only if it is true it merits inclusion in this biographical article. —Cesar Tort 19:38, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dead Link[edit]

The link to the 1999 Pulitzer Prizes is dead. The Pulitzer Prize web site was revised in 2008 and direct links to specific pages there no longer work. Scientology claims[edit]

Other than Larry Goldmans book review, I can not find any other claims that Whitaker is or is or has been funded by scientologists. Larry Goldman doesn't have a wikipedia article, either, as there seems to be no sources to cite regarding his credentials. I think that this part should be deleted, or revised with citations regarding the statements made by Larry Goldman. 24.247.174.132 (talk) 21:20, 26 October 2010 (UTC) Disclosure: I am not the person referred to when clicking my IP's address-I'm leeching of a Charter communication WiFi-, this is only the third edit I've made to any wikipedia article and all three are in discussions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.247.174.132 (talk) 21:28, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is Robert Whitaker's education? Where did he go to college? 206.71.239.16 (talk) 18:08, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What are his educational qualifications?[edit]

Since he's made it his career to question the qualifications of the psychiatric profession, what is Robert Whitaker's educational background? Shouldn't that be included in this article? It seems to be conspicuously absent from the content, for someone claiming that he knows better. Stevenmitchell (talk) 09:26, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
