When was the opera written? There are dates given for the works on which the libretto and opera were based, but I can't figure out when this work was completed.alainsane (talk) 05:21, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
- The section "Performance history" starts with "... was first performed on 29 October 1837". The section "Roles" has a box with "Premiere cast, 29 October 1837". The navigation boxes, one in the top right and another at the bottom of he article, say "Roberto Devereux (1837)".
