The label's famous "tongue" logo, thought by some to be a caricature of Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger's mouth, However, Keith Richards has stated that the tongue is based on the Hindu goddess Kali. deleted out of the article- you measn people still don't know it is an Andy Warhol creation? --Mikerussell 18:12, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

You are incorrect, sir. Warhol did not do it. See here The Rolling Stones' "Tongue and Lip Design" designed by [John Pasche http://www.johnpasche.com/flash6.html].--65.95.204.160 00:30, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The release date of Rub Rudolph Run/The Harder They Come

i corrected this a few days ago, but it seems someone's changed it back: this single was released in december 1978, not 1979 as the article currently states. and since The Harder They Come is properly attributed, i don't see why Run Rudolph Run isn't; not doing so implies it's an original work by Jagger/Richards, and of course it's not. It's officially attributed to Marks/Brodie, but widely understood to be Chuck Berry's work. i'll go ahead and make those changes again, but i do hope that whoever disagrees with me about either of them will doublecheck their sources and/or ask me for mine. thanks ...
