Cleanup[edit]

I'll continue to make little cleanup jobs over time, but the main pieces of information in the article were all added, willy-nilly. There's little in the way of context or timeline. And certainly no section contains an entire history of his career, and I doubt some of the information in any section is the most notable (and if it is, woefully inadequate). -- 2006-03-02 16:31:24 Dogbreathcanada

  • In response to "Cleanup" comments: Have been cleaning up in my usual willy-nilly fashion:) And will now try to put things in context, improve the time line and add more to the career history. My aim in the short term is to get this article from "inadequate" to adequate. In the long term, I have ambitions for it to become outstanding. Thanks for the comments, keep them comming Wikimsd 08:07, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • I haven't had the time, but have a few ideas for the television section, which I'll try to get to this week. I know Roy through The Sandbaggers, which is, in my opinion, one of the finest television spy dramas ever created (it certainly outshines Spooks). --Dogbreathcanada 08:28, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for cleaning up the article, Calton, it is much appreciated - this is my first article for Wikipedia, so I'm still finding my feet. Wikimsd 16:07, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Roy Marsden[edit]

My understanding is that Roy Marsden was divorced from Polly Hemingway many years ago. I do not believe that they are currently married.207.5.191.254 00:32, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Education[edit]

I don't understand the para. on Education very well. What is the point being made about the teacher who rang him up? The sentences succeed one another without really following on. Unionisation? Well, if that's what he says. But it was routine in the early 60s to join the Students' Union. And surely if Anthony Hopkins was a student anything in rep it would have been a Student Assistant STAGE Manager.
