Hi, one comment: you might want to adopt a more uniform way of providing the English and Irish name forms. At the moment, you once have "[English name], originally known as [Irish name]", then "[Irish name], better known as [English name]", then only "[Irish name]" and so on. I suggest:
in the first line: Rory O'Donnell (in Irish:Rudhraighe Ó Domhnaill), 1st Earl of Tyrconnell.
later on: Sir Hugh O'Donnell (Aodh mac Maghnusa Ó Domhnaill), etc.
Rather sadly, an anonymous user IP 18.104.22.168 has altered the names of Rory O'Donnell and his immediate family members to use the incorrect and unduly modernised "O'Donaill". However, this form of the name was not used in the 17th century, and indeed by many not even in the 21st. The correct form in Irish Gaelic, used by that family in the 17th century is "O'Domhnaill". The same applies to the first name. The English versions are not in dispute, and it would be preferable in the English wikipedia to use them, and limit use of the Gaelic versions to the Irish/Gaelic wikipedia. I would earnestly call on IP user 22.214.171.124 (who appears to be British, not Irish) to kindly revert the text to the earlier correct versions on nomenclature. Thank you. What evidence is there that he was to be arrested in 1607? He feared arrest but it had not been ordered by the Dublin administration. Mentioning it is inaccurate - it was later used as his excuse for leaving his people in the lurch in 1607.86.42.196.2 (talk) 10:12, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
