I see that the Run BASIC page is marked as being written like an ad. I did write some of the material on this page, even though I did not create the page. Mostly I tried to fix errors in the information about Run BASIC. I would like to know what makes it read like an ad, since that wasn't the intention. Any comments?

This was probably marked as being like an ad because it lacks references. The best way to fix this is to add references to the article. For example sentences like...
"Most web app systems model applications as a collection of pages. Information must be persisted between pages in some sort of datastore."

...would need a ref. Good luck! rCX (talk) 01:34, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I reworked the Run BASIC page trying to make it both shorter and less like an ad. I tried to remove comparisons to other systems in the rewrite. Feedback is appreciated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.162.254.180 (talk) 14:34, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think this article no longer reads like an advertisement. Should the Advert tag be removed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.118.53.2 (talk) 04:59, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unless there is some objection I am going to remove the Advert tag. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.118.53.2 (talk) 16:33, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
