Support per nom. No primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:41, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose no argument for this proposal. An empty claim of no primary topic is no reason to change a title. What, if any, are the other uses? What are the page views for each? How can people weigh in without knowing any of this? --В²C☎ 15:18, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Furthermore, there is no point in moving this article to the disambiguated one and leaving the original title a PRIMARYREDIRECT to it, as apparently proposed. Is the proposal to create a two-entry dab page at the basename? Who does that help? Currently, those seeking the character are taken directly to the article they seek, while those seeking the football player are one hatnote link click from their destination. With a dab page at the base name NOBODY searching with this name is taken to the article they seek, and EVERYBODY needs to click again to get to their destination. So nobody is better off, and half are worse off. Changing to strong oppose. --В²C☎ 15:27, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Strong oppose as per the reasons stated above. The current link is should stay the same. DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 12:31, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose – pageviews signify a primary topic. No indication on wikinav that people are often clicking the hatnote (the American football player doesn't even show up). No indication that people would be looking for Ryan McNeil Lamswood either, and that's just a partial title match. Skarmory(talk •contribs) 02:27, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
