I love it how you feel a consensus isn't needed to create a page that uses other people content in place where they never wanted it. You also feel a consensus is needed to make it factually correct which is all my update did. This whole subject is covered by International_Sailing_Federation#Events so this article has no relevance in my opinion. You are aware of this page which if you felt this was the way to go could have been developed List_of_World_Championships_medalists_in_sailing. It is misleading to suggest that ISAF organise class world championship or that there are only 15 World Championships when there are well over 150 title it is also strange to include the Tornado and Laser 4.7 neither of which are Olympic if you don;t want the other Class World Championships. Please look at my update all it does it includes some of the additional Worlds and it needs further editing. Yachty4000 (talk) 08:54, 30 April 2012

The nine championships highlighted in yellow are not those of the 8 Olympic classes, but those that assign titles at the world championships which are held every 4 years since 2003. Let's not fight, please fill in the section "others championships" with the table that you put first. Just be careful not to leave blank columns, or cells absent, as you did before. --Kasper2006 (talk) 09:13, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
But there not held ever four years almost ever class at the Worlds holds other World Championship away from that event in that year. The Tornado wasn't in the last sailing world championships and probably never will be the Elliott we have already discussed. Sorry about my tone that update took a long time and I can't see why you undid it or what consensus you think was needed. Maybe you could explain what was wrong with the update from a content point of view. --Yachty4000 (talk) 09:23, 30 April 2012
You're right: I have now settled. Your job is not absolutely lost, we can recover. We do one thing, I will recover me and then you walk to update it. --Kasper2006 (talk) 09:33, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
It is still in the revision history so I no the work isn't lost I would be keen to hear what you didn;t like about that updated table content and format. Yachty4000 (talk) 10:53, 30 April 2012
Yes check.svg Done If you want, you can fill the table, for example add new column with the link to details (all these WC hasn't an article, the main yes). If is possible reduced the lines (you can merge 420 and similar for instance). --Kasper2006 (talk) 10:07, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
I don't like the term main championships as this undermines other World Championships. I would prefer you seperate this into three Section I don't dare do it :-) One for Olympic Disciplines at the top one for ISAF Iniated Worlds and one for the Class Worlds a bit like the ISAF page. Certainly the Tornado and 4.7 should be out main championship box. I will try and find some time to complete the table a bit more. Yachty4000 (talk) 10:39, 30 April 2012
