If you want to add something to the features, please make sure you know what you're talking about. Some providers package extra stuff with the phone. The only things that every new retail phone will definitely come with is a battery and the wall charger. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.5.102.185 (talkcontribs) on 11 December 2006, 15:47, and later edited on 19 Mach 2007, 14:26.

The same goes for complaints, please make sure you know what you're talking about. Read the manual, post on a forum, or call your service provider to try to resolve the issue before posting it here. Don't add nitpicks either; unless you think at least 30% of D807 users would find your complaint fairly annoying in their daily use, please keep it to yourself or complain to Samsung/$ServiceProvider. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.5.102.185 (talkcontribs) on 11 December 2006, 15:47, and later edited on 19 March 2007, 14:26.

DON'T complain about your carrier! It's not Samsung's fault that Cingular does not make a backgammon game that works on this phone!! DON'T whine about their lack of ringtones; download audacity and make your own!! — The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.5.102.185 (talkcontribs) on 21 December 2006, 14:32.

Suggested Criticisms:[edit]

  • Java applications are restricted from accessing the local file system.
  • Videos and Photos can not be displayed full screen - which drastically cuts into the viewing area of the, seemingly, large screen. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jelwell (talkcontribs) 20:14, 12 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Videos on the otherhand can be seen on the full screen by pressing the 1 key after the video commence. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.220.9.8 (talkcontribs) 06:31, 3 January 2007.

Fullscreen videos? Not on my D807. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.5.102.185 (talkcontribs) 15:51, 3 January 2007.

From the criticisms:

"Will only record up to 1 megabyte of video even when recording mode is set to normal."

Since you can't save to the memory card, I believe video size is limited to available phone memory. Anybody concur? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.234.78.177 (talkcontribs) 04:52, 26 December 2006.

The phone can also be upgraded via a firmware upgrade to the sgh-820 model. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 193.220.9.8 (talkcontribs) 06:31, 3 January 2007.

NO, IT CAN'T!!! WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU PEOPLE GETTING THIS FROM?!? The T809 can be, but the D807 has different hardware. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.5.102.185 (talkcontribs) 15:51, 3 January 2007.

"The alarm doesn’t work when the phone is turned off. (Most phones fire the alarm even if the phone is not working)"

There is a setting for this. My Stuff, Applications, Alarm, Auto Power. Does it not work? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4A6179 (talkcontribs) 16:28, 16 January 2007.

Whoever tagged cleanup: What needs cleaning up? Certain sections, the whole thing? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.5.102.185 (talkcontribs) 14:51, 20 March 2007.

Criticism:[edit]

"If you are already on a phone call using the phone and then try to connect the Bluetooth headset using the headset. The phone does shows the Bluetooth headset is connected to phone. But the actual call is not transferred to the Bluetooth headset. Only the phone is active."

I have a Samsung WEP200 and it connects and activates during a call. You are having an issue with your headset, not the phone. I have removed your criticism. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4A6179 (talkcontribs) 20:26, 20 March 2007.

If you have a problem please list it here for other people to discuss whether it should be included, or if there is a fix for it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4A6179 (talkcontribs) 16:01, 25 April 2007.
