[edit] Mahableshwar

"Mahabaleshwar is one of the few Evergreen Forests of the world" Difficult to sustain this comment when one considers that much of Northern Canada, N. Europe and the Alps, and huge tracts of Siberia (amongst others) are covered in evergreen forest. Not to mention the evergreen Eucalyptus forests of Australia, the Amazon jungle, the Congo Basin etc etc. Jellytussle 17:06, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] edits to article

i took out some unnecessary details on the museum here, and a name (just the name, no reason for it being here) thats also posted in requests for new articles for journalists (SHRINIVAS VARUNJIKAR) where the persons resume/potential article info is posted in detail. i dont want to remove the info from there, but he doesnt appear notable. if he is, whoever posted there could just write the article and remove the info. lots of questionable language in this article, but im gonna back off for a bit. i get crazy looking at random sites and worrying about the quality. just relaax. and i would like to visit this area...Mercurywoodrose (talk) 02:19, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of unencyclopedic content

Huge portions of this article read like a travel guide to the region. no references were provided, and one section still had the name of the author, so it was simply copied from a newspaper or magazine article. i left what i thought could be considered appropriate. i hope no one adds any of this content back without providing references. i will assume good intent, but i hope whoever added this, if they see it missing, can read up on what is appropriate for WP. i cant say im an expert, but i do think what i did makes sense.
