Move[edit]

Should this article be moved to School speech? Putting parenthetical wording in an article title is to distinguish that article from an article or articles that otherwise have the same title. This is not the case regarding this article's title, so perhaps this article should be named "School speech"? I won't move this article, unless there is a consensus for the move. SMP0328. It really should be renamed Student speech (currently a redirect), as the free speech rights of teachers is covered by a different strand of case law. Schools themselves do not speak. Daniel Case (talk) 03:06, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Mahanoy[edit]

This page has not been edited at all since the Supreme Court decided Mahanoy Area School District v. B.L. back in June. Definitely needs its own section, and the Tinker section should probably also be updated to accommodate it. Internetronic (talk) 00:13, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Just added this section, using some content from the Mahanoy page's lead. Internetronic (talk) 07:46, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
