Notability[edit]

According to the article it was the first discotheque; this suggests it may be notable. Google search results (including news and books) also suggest it may be notable, although I haven't checked how much non-trivial coverage there is. snigbrook (talk) 15:20, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Well, I merely started the article, but those are just too many questions for me at the moment, so anyone willing to dig into the matter, do so. The Scotch-Club seems to be a major step in the evolution of the discothèque, though. Feel free, clubbers!--FlammingoHey 18:07, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
altough my mother worked at the scotch club as bartender in den 70ties I cannot tell much about the club ( as I was under 10 years old at that time). The "first disco of the world" story was already told back then. UltraBlonz (talk) 03:42, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
