Crete is the largest of the Greek Islands and the largest in the Mediterranean. Largest in the Mediterranean except for Cyprus, Sardinia, Sicily, and Corsica. Sicily is the largest island in the Med. Grutness|hello? Grutness.jpg 22:18, 20 Jan 2005 (UTC)

The Sea of Crete is more accurately in the Aegean Sea rather than the Mediterranean (though, granted, the Aegean is really just an arm of the Mediterranean. Indrian 00:51, May 8, 2005 (UTC) THE SEA OF CRETE SURRONDS ATHENS GREECE
