The Faith Christian Center, while a rather large church in Seekonk, does not have any bearing on this article. It is neither historically significant, nor a landmark. A wikilink from an article on the FCC (not currently found) to Seekonk would be more than appropriate. I invite the external links author should create one if she is so inclined and wikilink to Seekonk.

I would even suggest that the Seekonk article can include a "Culture" section, in which it can include a wikilink to the FCC article, among other things.

The current external links are defensible on the grounds that they are either official Seekong Town services, or, in the case of Seekonk Speedway, historical. Should a Culture section be created, it may be more appropriate to place a link or wikilink there.--Wubby 19:49, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

Wikipedia remains utterly incompetent.

I don't necessarily blame the writers of this article, to the extent that Wikipedia should have templates for various classes of topics, setting forth the points to which all writers must adhere.

That said, I do blame the writers. If you're going to publish a reference about a municipality, isn't the first fact you provide the derivation or etymology of the name?

I don't seem to see it here. After 19 years this draft has been online, unfinished?
