Hi there, my name is Winter, and I'm a first time wiki editor (which you can probably tell ) yousaf465 kindly provided some links to wiki guides. All the guidelines can seem at bit overwhelming at first. Looks like I have some reading to do.
I do have a couple of questions right now: how serious is my "conflict of interest" tag? The article I'm adding is about my wife. What prompted me to add it was finding an article on our friend T. Thorn Coyle, which has an empty link to an article about my wife (Sharon Knight). I'm not trying to use wikipedia to advertise ourselves, and want to be conscientious about following wiki conventions. I've looked at other artists' pages first to get an idea of what is commonly done. Do all articles have to be authored by someone uninvolved with the subject?
My other question concerns notability. Should I even bother getting this right, or is my "subject" so far below the radar that the article will get pulled anyway?
Thanks for your help. Cheers Winter (talk) 04:36, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Winterjps
