why "Wright-Phillips" ? and not just "Wright" ? anyone knows ? thanks :) fgfdgfgfgfg

Presumably he was previously Shaun Phillips, but when Ian Wright adopted him after getting together with his mother they chose to give young Shaun a hyphenated name..... ChrisTheDude 12:28, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Honors Addition[edit]

I added in the Carling Cup from 2007... although he did not play in the final game, he was still a part of Chelsea when they won it, and had played in previous games in the tournament. Miles Blues 03:32, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This Article is Terrible[edit]

It reads like a piece from a promotional campaign - I've never seen so many unsubstantiated and point of view comments in such a short space in a wiki entry.86.11.81.33 (talk) 19:08, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Singing Career"[edit]

Removed this due to no references and false claims (expressing boyhood love for wigan athletic and subsequently signing for them on 27th August 2008?!) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnno31 (talkcontribs) 15:27, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Signing for Man. City.[edit]

How many times has SWP signed for Manchester City then, because he proply started at the club, but later came back, did he sign once or twice?

Personal Life[edit]

Shaun has three children, two children by his former girlfriend Naomi Brown, Dmarigio 8 and Dneay 6. Shaun recently became a father for the third time with current on off girlfriend Sian Owen to a healthy boy Harvey born 24.10.08 the day before his own birthday.

Shaun is also set to be a big brother again, as his dad Ian Wright is also expecting a baby due early next year. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.206.63.48 (talk) 00:03, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Half brother[edit]

Somebody keeps putting that Shaun and Bradley are half brothers. I have also seen this misuse of the term in some new articles. However, they have the same mother _and_ father, so they can't be half brothers. Calling them half brothers because one of them is adopted by one of the parents is like saying that brothers adopted by both parents are not brothers at all. Since this is clearly not true, I don't think it is fair to the idea of adoption to refer to Shaun and Bradley as half brothers. Some articles refer to people as adopted brothers, but would never claim that they are not brothers at all. If we had to come up with a term for Shaun and Bradley, I think the fairest term would be "half adopted brother", but the article already says that Shaun was adopted by Ian, so maybe the article shouldn't be too worried about classifying his relationship with Bradley. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jackie2541 (talkcontribs) 09:04, 11 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
