Cleanup needed[edit]

We read that Shiseido was the first cosmetic producer in the world. I'd have thought that the first cosmetic producer in the world would be lost in prehistory. If it means the first company to produce cosmetics, I don't believe it. I'm willing to believe that it was the first company to dedicate itself to cosmetics, but I want evidence for this.

We read that "global scope" began in 1980. I think I can guess what this means, but I don't know what it means, and I hesitate to "improve" English to something that is factually wrong. -- Hoary 03:59, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

In addition, is not Rimmel an older company? I believe it was founded in the mid 1830's. (72.205.9.126 (talk) 04:30, 12 November 2008 (UTC))

Products Section[edit]

I tagged the products section because it reads like a sales manual. Also, I am a jerk. --64.26.176.223 (talk) 17:03, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Bare Escentuals[edit]

Color me ignorant, but why does Bare Escentuals redirect here? There is no mention of Bare Escentuals anywhere in this article, and as far as I know Bare Escentuals is a San Francisco based company. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xprivate eyex (talkcontribs) 09:17, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
