In Ruse, Archard's staff bears the Sigil. I think this makes him a likely candidate for Sigil-Bearer status. This is also supported by the fact that his companion Emma appears to be one of the Guides/Mentors, possessing magic powers and the orange eye-glowing thing.
He doesn't have a sigil (Neither does Arywn or Obregon), so no it doesn't make him a candidate for a sigil-bearer there isn't even a candidacy. Danik was probably like "don't put your eggs into one basket" or "i'll probably need back-ups knowing these humans." But Sigil-bearer status should soley be based upon whether or not they have a sigil or did have a sigil. (regarding Solusandra taking some back) Savre 04:17, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
