Okay, so isn't this just an advertisement in disguise?

Read this at the beach two summers ago. Not a great read, but fair. And it takes a fascinating topic and spins a little light action/adventure novel from it. The "surprise ending" is slightly surprising, if a bit pat and preachy.

Marketing-wise, I think it suffered from the title and obvious reference to the Maxis computer game.
