For those that read Finnish, some perspective[edit]

I had never heard about this organisation even though I have lived in Finland these last 6 years and know the language.

However I stumbled on it now due to the association they have with big pharma funded manipulation of the Finnish media in ridiculing alternative medicine, not because alternative medicine is always inherently bad, but because it results in less sales of medicine and has no effective way to defend against the massive amounts spent in research and marketing.

The reason I am bothering to place this here is because this page does not talk about the questionable practices of this (or possibly other similarly operated sceptic) organisation. The trigger for me was the mention of the reasons for attacking an anti-vax site for promoting one-sided and pseudoscientific claims on vaccines. This is very satirical if humour but it is NOT unbiased handling if intended to be scientific. Many organisations starting with the manufacturers, promoters and many health bodies are equally guilty of hosting pro-vax sites that have one sided propaganda and unscientific claims (eg. missing RCT results), these should be singled out for the same reasons but have not been because of the vested interests that are not disclosed.

Any site that purports to be against falsehood must also question the actions of their sponsors or loose credibility and any sponsor body that demands immunity from causing harm before selling a vaccine and then going on record saying the vaccine is safe has very questionable motives.

So if someone has the time and language skills to extract data from the blog at Skepsis, tieteen korruptio ja luontaishoitojen vaino they would be performing a service to Wikipedia in adding some balance to this page to highlight a few of their less responsible practices. I am not doing it as I would not do justice as I do not have intimate knowledge of the history and am triggered by some of the practices that would reduce my impartiality. Let us see if this page can be improved to bring it to Wikipedia impartiality standards. I will not flag it now in my drive-by but I hope this request brings about some change.
