I really think there should be two articles, or at least two sections: one on the pro game and one on the game as played by amateurs.--Pmeisel 11:55, 20 Mar 2005 (UTC)

a question[edit]

Is this the first year they've had a woman play? Is she hitting from the men's tees? (probably not)

Did you honestly ask both those questions? If you would have watched one hole ti would have been obvious she was hitting from the men's tees and by the excitement of the crowd and the publicity, and simply if you know golf at all youd know this is the first year a women has played in the skins game.

Orgin of "skin"[edit]

We all know that the word "skin" refers to the outer covering of persons and certain animals. But how did the word became applied to mean a certain prize money in the skins game? 202.69.189.25 (talk) 04:12, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
