Proposed deletion[edit]

Administrator -- Concerning deletion, I know that you're not suppose to use proposed deletion for an article that has already been brought to WP:AfD but I didn't know that this article had previously been discussed/deleted under AfD until I saw the message "Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/SoReal Cru exists" (sorry). That AfD discussion took place years ago (2008) so the way the article looked at the time is not accessible from the article's history (goes back to 2009). It appears that the article was recreated after it had been deleted. Since this article was previously deleted under the AfD process rather than kept, I thought it may be permissible for PROD so I left the nomination on the page. I consulted WP:GD for specifics but that guide didn't discuss a situation like this article has here. My mistake if I did this wrong. //Gbern3 (talk) 20:07, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non-administrator comment: There is no problem with what you have done here as far as prodding a previously-discussed article. Since the previous AfD resulted in a delete, and this article in its present form has been around for over two years, it is probably safe to say that this is a different article from the one that was deleted at AfD. However, I am contesting your proposed deletion on the grounds that notability is not temporary. Defunct organizations or groups are entitled to an article if they ever met the notability criteria. If you believe that this group never met notability criteria, feel free to open an AfD. —KuyaBriBriTalk 20:55, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
