Expand[edit]

NPV problems[edit]

The whole article reads like promotional material. Phrases like "for all to enjoy" do not belong in an encyclopedia. This needs a pretty thorough re-write, but I don't think it should be nominated for speedy deletion since Soak City is notable. Beggarsbanquet (talk) 21:56, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have ripped out a lot of the WP:NPOV and advertising in the article. Things like the admission prices and cabana rentals should never have been included. I have also condensed the other sections into one, and added the park's logo. What do you think now? Themeparkgc Talk 23:37, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV-wise, it looks great. Now it's just more of an issue of expanding it beyond stub-length, and finding sources. But great job- I didn't even know where to start with this! Beggarsbanquet (talk) 00:14, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plagiarism[edit]

A good portion of the "History" section appears to have been copied and pasted directly from this source that I found (look at the year 1988): https://web.archive.org/web/20110717095315/http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/news/history/index.cfm.
