CSPCA[edit]

Canadian SPCA is a Quebec based society that only serves Quebec and does not assist animals in other provinces. The Canadian Federation of Humane Societies [1] is the leading national body that advocates animal rights in Canada. Ozdaren 14:11, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Black Beauty[edit]

I'm looking for an owner...[edit]

My wife wrote this poem, which I simply HAVE TO share... Possibly put it up in your reception? Or post it on your website??

I’m looking for an owner, who’ll never treat me bad. Who’ll really truly love me, and try not make me sad. Who’ll groom and make me pretty, and show me off to friends. Who’ll play with me and walk me, and let me chew bookends. Who’s always there to feed me, my health is their concern. Be gentle and be friendly, and never be too stern. Someone who’ll give me shelter, not tie me with a chain. Who’ll care for me and help me, if ever I’m in pain. An owner who won’t leave me, on the roadside all alone. For someone mean and scary, to steal and take me home. An owner who won’t force me, to fight to stay alive. To be part of a bet, that I cannot survive. In return I’ll make you happy, I’ll be loyal, I’ll be true. I might even surprise you, with all that I can do. So… If you’re all I’ve mentioned, then please don’t waste your time. Come over and adopt me, secure a bond for a lifetime.

Split proposed[edit]

I would like to propose that the SPCA International section be split into a separate article as it creates the perception that SPCA International is the governing agency for SPCA's, when it is not.

Daylen, I removed the section as it wasn't sourced except for a single charity rating guide. I also removed the infobox as that would have implied there is a singular organization that assumed this name. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 14:54, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
