Finish Codes[edit]

The various codes in the racelines table under the heading 'Finish' need some explanation please. Derek Andrews (talk) 15:13, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I adjusted the table to make the Finish column easier to understand for most folk and showcasing the Beaches phenomenal record. Regarding a recent change to the first sentence, I don't think one can refer to Somebeachsomewhere as 'equal world champion'. His time is only the equal 'race' world record and there are no world champions in harness racing. Cambest's 1:46.1 time trial is still the fastest mile for a standardbred.Jagy2k (talk) 02:16, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I get it now. Derek Andrews (talk) 10:40, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Derek, Jonnygrant thinks he owns this page and doesn't 'dig' the more informative structure. This page is not a racing form so the table does not need to look like one. It should be made easy to understand for as many viewers as reasonably possible. I'll add a legend for the finish column and see if he digs that!Jagy2k (talk) 23:48, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
