When the Internet resurrected an entire world of classic radio dramas, unheard and all but unknown from 1960 till 2010, fine writers and actors have come to light again. Harris was a regular on Dragnet and dozens of other shows for decades. Terrific actor. His Dragnet specialty was criminal narcissists, not only heartless psychopathic killers, but also despicable conmen who specialized in deceiving women. His distinctive, pleasing voice, educated diction, and casual laugh when confessing what he himself had done gave an awful reality to his scenes.
