The Muppets[edit]

Kita and the G-Stealer[edit]

I have added back the reference to Kita as the G-Stealer. While G-Stealer initially was the band's bass player, when that actor/musician retired from the band, the current actor/musician took on the costume and identity, and the character was moved to drums. Though they were played by different people and played different instruments, they are the same character.

On the band's official website, in the third paragraph of Kita's history, it states, "Kita, also known as the G-Stealer, has been seen alive, as can be verified." "G-Stealer" is a nickname; "Kita" is the name the alien was going by at the time that Mr. Lordi found him, though whether this is his individual name or the name of his species is "unknown." —HamatoKameko 03:36, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A reminder: please DO NOT remove the reference to Kita as the "G-Stealer" unless you can provide valid reason for doing so. The information is fact as stated on the character's bio on the band's official website and has been properly cited from that source. "Kita" and the "G-Stealer" are the same character as played by two different musicians, hence the bluelink to the G-Stealer article for further information.

It's not the same character, thus it shouldn't say it's not the same character. The costumes might be similar but G-Stealer is a complete different person. Unless you can prove valid reason to keep the G-Stealer reference (for instance, proof that he's also known as G-Stealer because it says nothing about it on the actual reference which is the official Lordi-website. You need to have grounds to keep it, not to remove it as it's pretty much incorrect information. You clearly are not bothering to read my above comments in full, including the fact that removal of this information (yet again) without first discussing it would lead to a report.

They are the same character, and I have given a reference to the information, as well as directly quoted the sentence in which it is stated (in Kita's backstory). Your assertation that they are not the same character does nothing but prove that you have not fully explored the character biographical information available on the official site, which I have referenced more than once. While I cannot link directly to the page that states this information (due to the site design, which is Flash-based), the page in question clearly states that they are the very same character, and I quote, "Kita, also known as the G-Stealer, has been seen alive, as can be verified."

If it will settle things, I will contact Psyanide, the webmaster of the official site, and request a confirmation of the information I have referenced, as well as a direct link to Kita's back-story for the purpose of this article (if such a link is possible). -HamatoKameko (talk) 07:20, 15 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced Comments[edit]

This article, like other articles about the Lordi monsters, has many unsourced statements. This calls the accuracy of these statements into question. Due partly in light of the band's wishes for their personal lives to remain private, I believe these statements to be potentially in violation of the biographies of living persons policy. Unless the proper citations are found and added by the end of August, I move that the unsourced statements be removed from the article. —HamatoKameko 06:29, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As there have been no sources offered for the statements, and no discussion or objection from other editors, I have removed the unsourced statements in the article, some dated as far back as July 2007.
