The first sentence had a parenthetical comment at the end that was so essential that the sentence would be grossly false without it, and was complicated by combining disparate ideas into one sentence. The second sentence seemed to imply that the term z-score is used ONLY when funnel plots used in meta-analyses are done, and that implication is bizarre. I've made the article far stubbier than it was. I'm not sure it shouldn't just be a redirect. Michael Hardy (talk) 02:16, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

I started the page with very limited knowledge of statistics, so greatly appreciate your edits. I'm slightly confused by your suggestion that this page should be a redirect. What should it redirect to?Jimjamjak (talk) 10:35, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
