Extraneous Information?[edit]

I do not know the parish boundaries of Stanton but I question how germane the sections on Moreton Corbet Castle and RAF Shawbury airfield are unless they fell within Stanton's boundaries or had some facet of their history that directly impinged on Stanton. The sections could be condensed, perhaps reduced to reminders of their proximity to Stanton. I also question the relevance of the paragraphs about the Great Reform Act as it affected Parliamentary, not parish boundaries: Parish Councils came into being in 1894, over 60 years later.Cloptonson (talk) 20:12, 3 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Having seen no reply made in the two intervening years in favour of keeping the subsection about the Great Reform Act, and noticing that its citation (from BBC History website) mentions nothing of Stanton, I am hereby going to delete this subsection for irrelevance.Cloptonson (talk) 20:26, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Now I know that Moreton Corbet is a separate parish from Stanton and today part of a civil parish merged with that of Lee Brockhurst, I have decided to delete the subsection on the Castle for irrelevance.Cloptonson (talk) 06:43, 2 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
