Merge?[edit]

There is absolutely no relation between the magazine and the award function, which is just sponsored by it. Merge is by no means a right way to go. ShahidTalk2me 09:00, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A merge of some sort is in order; currently the award recipient list is in the Stardust (magazine) article itself due to a quick merge I did yesterday, but I later discovered the existence of this standalone article for the awards. Sponsorship is certainly a strong enough link to tie the 2 entities together, at least as far as Wikipedia articles go. But if you're certain that Stardust does not run the awards too (and truly only sponsors them), then the awards list should simply be merged here, and we would still be left with 2 distinct articles. --AbsolutDan (talk) 11:45, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Update The currently listed official site for the Stardust awards, stardustawards.in, merely redirects to a section at magnamags.com, which is the official site for the magazine itself. There's certainly strong evidence here that the awards are at least run by the parent company of the magazine. --AbsolutDan (talk) 11:50, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well the list was added by some anon to a completely irrelevant page. A magazine is a magazine, an award function is an award function. There is a difference between the two. Stardust awards is the annual ceremony sponsored by Stardust. Stardut is a magazine. Two different things, therefore two different articles. ShahidTalk2me 13:08, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have no issue with your removal of the awards listing. Regards, --AbsolutDan (talk) 22:58, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
