I think it would be valuable to have a section that lists notable companies that came out of Startup Weekend. For starters, Zaarly and Foodspotting. Docmphd (talk) 22:00, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
- ^ Yeah, would be great indeed. In addition, the dates should be added to the cities that held SU weekends. Any list for that?

Fact timeline[edit]
I made a minor adjustment to the history section to better reflect the timeline. Startup Weekend LLC didn't exist until after the second Startup Weekend. This should be verifiable, but I'm not sure how to check a company registration in the US.
[ED] Confirmed. The Startup Weekend Toronto was from Sept. 14th, 2007 to Sept. 16th 2007 and Startup Weekend LLC was registered Sept. 18th 2007 .
