Series or character?[edit]

During the AfD discussion, the point of whether the article should be about the series or its main character has been raised. I continue the discussion here because AfD should be for discussing about deletions. Paolo Liberatore (Talk) 11:13, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • The guideline uses "work of fiction" to refer to either a book or a series of books (see the second example in WP:FICT, which is a main character in a series). That the title of the article could be Stephanie Plum is not unreasonable (since there seems to be quite a consensus about keeping with moving I will not further object to that). However, in this case there is no point in having also an article Stephanie Plum Series, so this article should cover both the series and its main character, not only the main character. That makes no such a big difference but, for example, the books are the subject of the article and not a set of "References". Paolo Liberatore (Talk) 11:13, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Remove Sugar from Minor Characters?[edit]

Unlike Sally Sweet, who appeared in more than one book, Sugar appeared only in Four to Score. There's no reason for him to be here. If no one objects by November 1st, 2008, I will delete. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.96.196.130 (talk) 16:29, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I gave it an extra month and there was no objection, so TTFN Sugar.

Sequence of Books?[edit]

The series includes two books that Evanovich refers to as "Between the Numbers", Plum Lovin' (which follows Twelve Sharp) and Visions of Sugar Plums (which follows Hard Eight). The works are considered by the author to be outside of the main story arc, but released in the correct sequence. Fans have noted that some plot points come up in the novels but they aren't required to follow the next book, though, this is really true for any in the series.

Currently the infobox for Hard 8 lists To The Nines as it's follow up. Should Visions be listed instead? Should the template for the books be edited to move the "Between The Numbers" novels into a seperate listing? Aristan 02:45, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FTAs list is pointless except as an exercise in trivia-gathering[edit]

The FTA list has no point. If nobody can make a solid argument for its retention, I'm gonna delete it. --Orange Mike | Talk 20:18, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will say that the FTA list has helped me figure out which book I'm talking about when referring to a certain case... but I'm not sure that it's actually appropriate for this article. Maybe it should be reformatted into a table so that it's a) neater and b) doesn't give rise to more trivia lists? 69.143.240.243 (talk) 13:12, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Car death section[edit]

Would it be amusing if the Car death title changed to Car-nage? We love Stephanie but she's doom for cars. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.58.43.214 (talk) 21:58, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
