Stephenson 2-18[edit]

Should there be a new section on Stephenson 2-18 since it’s currently the largest star and i think people would wanna know a few things about it? It could say it’s temperature and luminosity as well as its calculated radius. Nussun05 (talk) 05:02, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rather a new article or page. 88.121.235.196 (talk) 05:15, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yup that could work too. Could anyone start a page? Nussun05 (talk) 05:21, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Merge Proposal[edit]

Can St2-18 be merged with this article? Does it need its own section? I'm planning to place a merge proposal for the RSGC1 stars too, I really don't think these stars need their own article.PNSMurthy (talk) 01:46, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is quite old, but just to avoid discussing the same thing in multiple places, go here. Lithopsian (talk) 20:28, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

St2D1 merge proposal[edit]

As for the reasons I have mentioned in the talk page of St2D1, it does not meet WP:SIGCOV and thus not WP:NASTRO and WP:GNG. SpaceImplorerExplorerImplorer 09:37, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stephenson 2-18 should be merged with this page[edit]

Stephenson 2-18 probably has enough information to have its own section in this page, but not and entire page, do to it being not that notable. The only reason it has it’s own page is because of the unreliable and false claim that it is 2150 SR, making it the largest star if the claim was true. Is this discussion still open? because I 101% agree with it. It’s page was only made because of an inaccurate size that everyone believed. Atlantlc27Lol (talk) 02:00, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
