Robert Walker[edit]

Place comment here on identity of guitarist. Until identity confirmed, disambiguate link

This Rob Walker was not "Robert Bilbo Walker" born in 1937. The robert Walker in the band Stillwater was only about 18 years old when the first album was recorded so he was likely born closer to the mid 50's —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Atrian (talkcontribs) 17:54, 7 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Why's there a section of non-prose information after the references section? Booglamay 22:32, 3 October 2007 (UTC

1973 Fever Dog Single[edit]

The Singles section currently contains a single "Fever Dog" from 1973 but this song does not appear to exist.

The song does not appear on any Stillwater albums or singles listed on discogs.com, 45cat.com, rateyourmusic.com, or allmusic.com.

The first release with this song seems to be the "Almost Famous" soundtrack where it is listed as being performed by the fictitious Stillwater band in that film. The US CD booklet at https://www.discogs.com/Various-Almost-Famous-Music-From-The-Motion-Picture/release/1878102 has the writing credits as "Russell Hammond", the guitarist in the fictitious Stillwater band, and lists the performers as Marti Frederiksen, Mike McCready, Nancy Wilson, Jon Bayless, and Ben Smith, none of whom are in the original Stillwater band. Also, the song is marked "(P) 2000". The soundtrack version is clearly not by the original Stillwater.

As this seems to be a clear error, I will remove this entry instead of marking it citation needed or dubious. Wantnot (talk) 09:21, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
