Notability[edit]

I'm not entirely convinced this is independently notable, and it has a lot of unsourced claims that are presented from a rather in-universe style. Are there any verifiable details about this character's concept and development from a real-world perspective? It may be better to merge this with List of Lilo & Stitch characters. I've just provided a new section with some cited information about Chris Sanders's development of the character, and did some rewriting for the article. It's not much to start out with—the legitimate concerns over in-universe writing and original research still need to be worked out—but hopefully this will lead to the article being reworked into something that's much informative than before. --WPA (talk) 02:13, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stitch (Disney)Stitch (Lilo and Stitch) – Per Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(films)#Character_articles, we should be using the movie title as parenthetical disambiguation.. Interstellarity (talk) 00:03, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support, but use the correct rendering of the film and franchise's title (i.e. Stitch (Lilo & Stitch))The ampersand matters. Besides that, the article's current title of "Stitch (Disney)" is actually somewhat ambiguous because it can refer to the Disney franchise as a whole—which is often shortened to Stitch thanks to the post-2006 spin-offs (i.e. Stitch!, Stitch & Ai, and Stitch & the Samurai)—instead of just the title alien character. That said, it could also be moved to Stitch (Disney character) instead if there's resistance to using the film's name due to said spin-offs. –WPA (talk) 04:04, 8 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
