Speedy deletion proposal[edit]

I propose this article be deleted under CSD-G6; it lists three songs, none of which have an article that I can find, and I am in the process of listing all three at the main Stoned disambiguation page as we speak. PaladinWhite 16:37, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

Then this page should redirect to the disambig. John Reaves (talk) 21:29, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Why keep a "sub-disambiguation" page for three songs which don't have articles, and each of which would most likely be named something other than that listed as the title of this page? As I listed on the main disambig, the probable titles would be "Stoned (Rolling Stones song)," "Stoned (Smash Mouth song)," and "Stoned (Dido song)" - if anything, only one of them (the first to be created) would be qualified with "(song)" alone, not all three. There is no point in keeping this disambiguation page for three songs with dissimilar titles. PaladinWhite 01:30, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
No, none of them qualify for this page. This page should redirect to Stoned. John Reaves (talk) 01:55, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Ah, okay, at this point I concur and oppose deletion. A redirect would function better for the user. Now where do we go from this point? Is there anything special that needs to be done to "withdraw" the request, or can one of us simply remove the template (and the rest of the page) and edit-in the redirect? If so, I'd be happy to do it, or equally satisfied if you wanted to do it yourself. PaladinWhite 02:19, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
I'll let you do it, be bold and remove the tag and place #REDIRECT[[Stoned]] in place of the current page. John Reaves (talk) 02:33, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for all the feedback and assistance; I've edited-in the redirect! PaladinWhite 03:08, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
