Mechanical Engineering?[edit]

When is it mentioned in the series that Stringfellow Hawke had his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering? While it would make sense, I'd like to know the source of this info? 01:15, 4 March 2007 (UTC) Valens

In one of the first season episodes (I believe it is number 7, but don't hold me to that), the story begins with an extended intro sequence where a visual dossier type of profile of String is presented with the text "Masters in Mechanical Engineering". Here is a copy of it on youtube, unfortunately the quality is poor and the text is difficult to decipher.
I just watched the Season 1 extended introduction and the exact text reads M.S. in Applied Physics.

This introduction, which plays like a F.I.R.M. computer file (that is the one you're talking about, right?) ran on all 1st season episodes save the pilot until release into general syndication--USA Network reruns included it. And thanks; I was wondering the same thing. Ted Watson (talk) 19:04, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Diet[edit]

The pilot film makes it clear that Hawke does not eat meat, but does eat fish, which would make him a pescetarian. Is this addressed later in the series? —MJBurrage(TC) 03:12, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reference in NCIS[edit]

In the NCIS (TV series) episode, "Dead Man Walking", the character Anthony Dinozzo makes a direct reference to this character, does that deserve inclusion? Sicnerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 02:49, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No mention of his hearing?[edit]

The pilot movie and several episodes make reference to String having excellent hearing, including having him hear helicopters shortly before their sound is revealed to the audience. A minor point, but I think it's worth inclusion considering one would expect the opposite to be true because of exposure to loud prop noises. Curtis Autery (talk) 22:14, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
