Hey, is this dance English or Scottish? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.153.150.94 (talk) 08:41, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Multiple willow stripping" sounds pretty much like an Orcadian Strip Willow. I always rather thought that Strip the Willow was a Scottish dance, which has become common in England through the number of ceilidhs there. -Tpacw (talk) 14:57, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some history and tunes, please, anyone?[edit]

The article currently contains excellent information about how StW is danced. But not a word about its history or any tunes that it goes with. Is anybody able to add a couple of paragraphs? (StW is near and dear to my heart from my youth in the Stockholm Tolkien Society.) Martin Rundkvist (talk) 13:42, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Vid[edit]

I'm thinking a video would be great to simplify the explanation somewhat.. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 36.11.228.180 (talk) 00:05, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
