It has been found in clinical practice that the topical use of sucralfate in burns, cuts and wound healing is excellent. Some preparations containing sucralfate,povidone iodine and Tinidazole and sucralfate, silversulphadiazine ,Chlorhexidine gluconate are available by the name of Dresin and Burnosaf respectively in India .Sucralfate and oxetacaine topical and oral preparations are also available.
