Former good article nominee Survivor (TV series) was one of the Theatre, film and drama good article nominees, but did not meet the good article criteria at the time. There are suggestions below for improving the article. Once these issues have been addressed, the article can be renominated. [edit] female host

I deleted the line "Linda Isacsson will be the worlds first female host of Expedition: Robinson also known as Survivor, when the Swedish version return on TV4 in 2009". The Dutch "Expeditie Robinson" already has had a female host for many many years, so the statement is simply not true! (and very unfortunate, the male host -we had 2 hosts- has died in a car-accident in Norway less than 2 months ago, during the making of another adventure programma).

[edit] Survivor Samoa Winner

The article says today (2/05/2010) that Russel won Survovor Samoa. That's incorrect. can't recall who did win it, but it was a woman.

He also didn't win "Heroes and Villains"

if you look a little above this is says that he won americas favorite player.

[edit] Survivor WikiProject Second Attempt

Hey guys, you may have noticed that over the course of the last few months I have been creating pages for different versions of Survivor/Robinson. In total I've been able to make pages that cover 43 different seasons of Survivor worldwide with atleast a finishing order on all of them, however, there are still 90 or so seasons that have not been covered and do not have pages. While it has been disputed that Survivor hasn't been as big of a format as Big Brother, if one was to do some research into how long the show has been running in countries around the world they would see that in Belgium/The Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, France, and Spain the show has had atleast seven seasons. While it may seem very challenging to find out information on some versions of Robinson, it is not impossible as can be seen with Baltic Robinson. Whether or not we can start a wikiproject for Survivor, I will still continue to add information on more versions of Survivor, but I suspect that if we are able to start a wikiproject for Survivor that we'll probably be able to have all editions filled in within the next two years if not less. It sounds like a good idea. Whitestorm17 (talk) 20:05, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Switch from Final 2 to Final 3

It would seem to be worth mentioning in the article at what point the show switched from a "Final 2" to "Final 3" format. 69.143.122.118 (talk) 02:31, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Yes, that would be worth mentioning. Did it happen in Fiji or sometime before that? Whitestorm17 (talk) 20:06, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

It was during Cook Island, with the Aitu Four making it into the final four, surprised that the treemail for the last immunity challenge said that winning would guarantee making it to the jury. (Personally probably one of my favorite seasons.) 12:35, 4 March 2011 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.91.36.12 (talk)

[edit] Contestant Articles

Hello. I noticed that in most seasons, only the winner and maybe a few other contestants have articles made for them. It seems like to me, that at least any contestant that made it to the merge of their season should have an article made for them. There should be at least enough to information on their personal life and their time in the game to make a good article. Are there any other thoughts? [edit] Twists other than US twists

Shouldn't twists that are used in other versions of survivor be included in this article about the franchises. Like, for example, the black vote necklace, black and white pearls, challenges at final four instead of tribal council (although not realy a twist), tribe X, winning tribe voteing people out of loseing tribe, etc. Also, a comparison should be done between Redemption Island and its predecessors dead man's island, purgatory island, etc. most of them ended at the merge and in three way or more duels, only the winner continued on. --Goobie m (talk) 12:11, 13 November 2011 (UTC)
