There is no such thing as a Swiss Ethnicity[edit]

Switzerland is made up of French, Germans, Italians, and Roma. There is no such thing as a Swiss ethnicity. This page should be removed and its contents should go to German-Brazilian, Italian-Brazilian, and French-Brazilian (if there is one) pages. Lehoiberri (talk) 18:43, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Lehoiberri I think you have no idea of the concept of Nation, State and Ethnicity, nor of European folks: are German speaking Italians (South Tiroleans) Italians or Austrians or must they call themselves according to you Germans? Are Italian speaking Croats Italians or Croats? Are Hungarian speaking Serbs Hungarians or Serbs? Etc., etc. Rom (one Roma, several Rom ...) live primarily in Central (means East of Austria) and Eastern Europe, as well as in the Balkans and Western Anatolia but are not autochthonous in Switzerland. I assume Lehoiberri is the nick name of Muammar Gaddafi as this guy came up with the idea of splitting Switzerland up  ;-D If you apply your rules to yourself, you are neither of Chilean nor Argentinian descent as you prize yourself but of Spanish  :-D Gozudar (talk) 22:09, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

awful english[edit]

I'm sorry but this content sounds like a lousy translation of something. Whoever wrote the main content is not able to write articles in the english language properly. And there is also a pointless promotion of this "Marchon" family without any references whatsoever. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.215.237.218 (talk) 20:01, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
