Name[edit]

Urbandale Centre? No one calls it that. "We're going to the Urbandale Centre". It's been the Civic Centre since 1967 and won't be called anything else by anyone who actually spends money here. The only people who will call it the Urbandale centre will be a bunch of rich men in suits. I propose changing the name of the article back to Civic Centre. That's what everyone calls it. This naming convention of changing the titles of Wikipedia articles to their corporate names is frankly -- ridiculous. If most people still call it the Civic Centre, then the Civic Centre it should remain.Mundilfari (talk) 14:27, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

TD Place[edit]

Both the former Civic Centre (the subject of this article) and the former Frank Clair Stadium are now collectively named "TD Place". There is a discussion at Talk:TD Place Stadium#TD Place about how best to name and organize the articles. Please share your thoughts over there. --Skeezix1000 (talk) 17:52, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
