Deletion[edit]

To address the concerns raised in the deletion proposal as well as on User talk:Bradv:

  • The topic is not notable - a Google search can show that the award is prestigious and a Wikipedia search can show that it is mentioned in numerous articles for the award's laureates (not all of them currently link to this page, since it is relatively new).
  • Directory listing - this is a page for an award. If this is a directory, perhaps we should also delete List of Nobel laureates.
  • It is not referenced - the external links section clearly shows the award listing for each year, as well as biographies, etc. I don't think adding a ref tag after each person's name will enhance anything.

I agree that the page can use some clean up, but the above three items are not valid reasons for the deletion of this article. --Jiuguang Wang (talk) 14:36, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Given that no one has responded to the above comment in the past three days, I've removed the deletion tag.--Jiuguang Wang (talk) 00:07, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Joseph Reagle[edit]

I'm not convinced I'm notable, but my name is mentioned a couple of times on Wikipedia and my name is red linked here. I have bio material if anyone is interested, but I defer from creating the page myself.--Reagle (talk) 18:46, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
